Liberia Airport to Flamingo & Reserva Conchal: Transfer Guide
Playa Flamingo, Brasilito, and Reserva Conchal are among the most upscale destinations on Guanacaste's Gold Coast — and they're all within easy reach of Liberia Airport.
The Route
From Liberia Airport, the drive to Flamingo takes approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes. The route heads south on the Interamerican Highway, then turns west through Belén and Huacas, passing through Brasilito before arriving in Flamingo. Reserva Conchal (one of Costa Rica's finest all-inclusive resorts) is located just south of Flamingo, adding about 5 minutes.

About This Area
Playa Flamingo is known for its calm, clear blue water (unusually clear for the Pacific coast), a full-service marina, and upscale residential properties. It's quieter and more residential than Tamarindo — a favorite for families, couples, and visitors who want beauty without a party scene.
Reserva Conchal is home to the W Costa Rica and one of the country's best golf courses (the Hacienda Pinilla course). The beach itself — Playa Conchal — is a stunning expanse of crushed shell sand with exceptional snorkeling.
Brasilito is the small fishing village just north of Conchal — lower-key, local, with excellent sodas (traditional restaurants) and direct beach access.
